Invite Members
Invite teammates into your workspace by email. When you send an invitation, the recipient receives a link they can use to join — and you choose their roles and groups up front, so they have the right access from the moment they accept.
Sending an Invitation
-
Open Teams from the sidebar and go to the Members section.
-
Click Invite Member.
-
Fill in the invitation form:
Field Description Email The email address of the person you're inviting Workspace Role Their permission level across the workspace — Owner, Coordinator, or Member Project Role The default role they receive in projects — for example QA Manager or Tester Groups (optional) One or more groups to add them to automatically -
Click Send Invitation. TestFlair emails an invitation link to the address you entered.
Adding a member to a group during invitation saves a step — they inherit the group's project assignments as soon as they join.
If you invite someone as a workspace Member, the project role you pick here is what gives them access to project contents. Owners and Coordinators already have access to every project, so the project role has no effect on them. See Roles & Permissions.
Accepting an Invitation
The invited person joins by following the link in their email:
- They click the invitation link, which opens TestFlair.
- They sign in (or create an account) using the same email address the invitation was sent to.
- Once verified, they're added to the workspace and taken straight to it.
The invitation is tied to the email address it was sent to. If the recipient signs in with a different account, TestFlair asks them to switch to the correct one before they can accept.
